Health & Safety in the University

The Central Health and Safety Function of the University comprises the University Safety Adviser, the Occupational Health Service and the Radiation Protection Service, which provide specialist advice to the University Court (through the University Safety Committee); and advise and assist individual Schools/Support Services with the development, implementation and maintenance of their own health and safety arrangements.

The management of health and safety within the University involves the University Court and its Health and Safety Committee; the senior management of the University and Heads of School/Support Service.

Further information on health and safety in the University is available on the health and safety web page.
