Remit

(a) To make nominations to the Court regarding the appointment of Vice-Principals and of co-opted members of Court.

(b) To recommend to the Court the membership of Court Committees and of representatives on Joint Court/Senate Committees.

Composition

The Nominating Committee is a committee of the Court, composed of Chancellor’s Assessor (Convener), Principal, Senior Vice-Principal, a senior Senate Assessor and a senior General Council Assessor (to be agreed by the Assessors themselves).

NB

(i) With regard to (a), members of the Court and of the Business Committee of the General Council are invited to suggest names of co-opted members of Court, while members of Court and of the Senate are invited to suggest names of Vice-Principals;

(ii) With regard to (b), members of the Court are invited to volunteer themselves or to suggest others for membership of Court Committees and for appointment as representatives on Joint Court/Senate Committees.
