Policy, Planning & Governance

Policy, Planning & Governance supports and promotes good governance within the University and the development, implementation and monitoring of institutional planning and strategy, including the Research Excellence Framework (REF). The office services the main governance committees, including the University Court, whose principal role is to oversee the management of the revenue, property and other resources of the University. It also manages a number of other advisory bodies and working groups, as well as the University Management Group which supports and advises the Principal in developing policy before its consideration within the wider committee structure.
