Postgraduate Open Day
The University of Aberdeen hosts an annual Postgraduate Open Day offering students the opportunity to visit the campus and learn more about our postgraduate opportunities. This year’s Open day was held on Wednesday 9h November and you can view the presentations from the day on the Postgraduate Open Day website.
Next years event is scheduled to take place on Wedenseday 7th November 2012 and registrations will open shortly.
Private Visits
We also operate an 'open door' visiting policy throughout the year. All prospective students, interested parents, teachers and careers staff are welcome to visit the University by making an appointment with the Student Recruitment & Admissions Service. We usually require two weeks notice so that we can make the necessary arrangements.
A typical visit usually begins with a short presentation about the University, then a tour of the campus with one of our current students, followed by a visit to the department(s) of interest. The tour includes our halls of residence, sports facilities, library and many more of the resources that the University has to offer. This gives visitors the opportunity to get a real feel for the campus, as well as find out more about life at the University from both students and academics.
