Paul
Tomassi's three principal interests are logic, logic and logic. He is the author
of the imaginatively-titled Logic, Routledge 1999 and a number of other
publications almost all of which have 'logic' in the title. Hobbies include
teaching classical logic to students who believe they cannot pass logic courses
(but who generally do) and exploring alternative, non-classical logics.
Logic aside, Paul Tomassi's interests include philosophy of language, philosophy of science, metaphysics and the history of Scottish Philosophy.
Logic, Routledge. London & New York. 1999, pp.
411.

"Paul Tomassi's book is the most accessible and user-friendly introduction to formal logic currently available to students. Never intimidating, this is a text from which even the most unmathematically minded student can learn all the basics of elementary formal logic."
Professor E.J. Lowe, University of Durham.
