I graduated with an MLitt in Logic & Metaphysics from St Andrews and with a PhD in Philosophy from King's College London with a thesis on "Putnam's Internal Realism". After that, I held a few Postdoctoral Research Fellowships around the world. Basically, I did some research in formal epistemology within the Philosophy, Probability and Modeling (PPM) Research Group in Konstanz University (Germany), and some research in metaphysics and philosophical logic at the Center for Time of Sydney University. My first Lectureship was at La Trobe University (Melbourne), which I left for Aberdeen.
Scepticism; epistemic closure and transmission of warrant; basic justification; uncertainty and ignorance; modal epistemology; Bayesian analysis of scepticism.
