Dr Leigh Clayton has been teaching for philosophy for sixteen years and received her PhD, Authentic Heroes: Existentialism and Film Noir, from the University of Aberdeen in 1998. Her research interests include the history and philosophy of the self, the philosophy of myth, and the philosophy of film. She is particularly interested in the work of Goodman, Levinas, Emerson, and Cassirer.
