Philosophy in Secondary Schools

Since 2011, NIP has run partnerships with secondary school in Aberdeenshire through the Royal Institute of Philosophy Philosophy in Schools initiative. A member of NIP runs weekly Philosophy sessions with students for 10 weeks. There is no cost for schools, who receive a £200 voucher for Philosophy books.

To date, NIP has developed successful collaborations with Albyn School, Dyce Academy and Robert Gordon's College.

Philosophy in Primary Schools

Since January 2012, NIP has been running a free weekly Philosophy with Children course for the P5 class (9-10 yrs old) in St Peters Primary School.
