Aberdeen Foyer Collaboration
NIP collaborates with Aberdeen Foyer, a charity working to alleviate youth homelessness and unemployment, on its Lifeshaper course. The course is a community rehabilitation initiative for those who have had alcohol/drug problems and are ready to take the next steps towards education, training and employment. NIP provides a six-week course on Philosophical Inquiry to course participants at no cost (May-June 2012).
HM Prison Aberdeen
NIP runs a six-week Philosophical Inquiry course with prisoners from HM Prison Aberdeen (June-July 2012) at no cost. The aim of the course is to improve prisoners' reflective skills, encourage social cohesion and help with prisoner reintegration.
