Obtained PhD in 2005 from Aberdeen University (department of Orthopaedics). Graduated from Leeds University with an honours degree in in Artificial Intelligence and Operational Research

My main research interests lie in medical image processing and understanding. In particular, I am interested in examining the shape of the femur and the trabecular structure on radiographs and DXA scans and seeing how they relate to bone disorders such as Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis.

More details can be found through the research pages on this site.
