The department and research group is situated across four sites in the city: Clinical work
is based at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary and Woollmanhill Hospital, the
departmental office is in the Polwarth building on the Foresterhill Site
and the Research labs are in the Institute
of Medical Science, also on the Foresterhill site.
We are part of the Bone
and Musculoskeletal Theme, an interdepartmental research group which
was awarded a five star rating at the last research assessment exercise, in the Division of Applied Medicine.
