Aberdeen’s international airport is served by a number of major carriers providing an extensive network of routes throughout the UK, direct to Europe and worldwide through major hubs. British destinations include London airports (Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton), Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cardiff, East Midlands, Exeter, Humberside, Leeds/Bradford, Manchester, Newcastle, Norwich, Southampton, as well as the Scottish Highlands and Islands.
Fares vary considerably depending on when you fly and how far in advance you book.. Contact the airlines for up-to-date information.
If you are arriving in Aberdeen by plane from a UK airport either for the entertainment on the 26th or the Open Day on the 27th, we will provide buses to take you directly to Crombie Johnston Halls or the King’s College campus. Booking for this is essential. Please let us know which flight you are coming on. After the Open Day, buses will depart from in front of Visitor Reception, Regent Walk at 1530 to connect with return flights. For details of plane times with connecting bus services please see Table 6.
Student Ambassadors will be at the airport to meet the following flights. A connecting bus service will be provided by the University from the airport to Crombie Johnston Halls or the King’s College campus. You can reserve a place on the bus from the airport to Crombie Johnston Halls or the King’s College campus when you book your place on the Open Day at www.abdn.ac.uk/openday
