THE OLD TOWN HOUSE

GATEWAY TO OLD ABERDEEN
Students sitting on lawn Student Recruitment

The Old Town House is now an impressive information and Student reception centre for our current and potential students to learn about the wide variety of study options available at the University of Aberdeen.

In 1505, when the first Principal was appointed, there were only six members of staff and 30 students. Today we boast over 14,000 students who are made up of 120 nationalities from across the world.

It is also a focal point for visitor trails, events and information about Old Aberdeen. Once again, it is a busy hive of activity used for the benefit of our 14,000-strong student population, as well as our academics, local people and wider community.
