Barbara Rae CBE, RA Barbara Rae is a highly acclaimed painter whose work has been exhibited throughout Scotland but also in South Africa, Norway, Australia, Spain, Italy, California, New Mexico and Washington DC. Art critic William Packer has described her as "one of the most successful and distinguished Scottish painters of her generation".
The University of Aberdeen is delighted to present an exhibition of Barbara Rae's work Old Town House. This exhibition showcases a series of prints focused on Aberdeen harbour.

North Harbour is a screenprint in a limited edition of 100 developed from a series of drawings and monotypes Barbara Rae made in 2004 based on the harbour at Aberdeen Barbara Rae is one of Britains's leading painters and printmakers and has received numerous awards and distinctions including an honorary doctorate from the University of Aberdeen.
All proceeds from the sale North Harbour will go to the University's Sixth Century Campaign which supports Aberdeen's pioneering ambition to lead in the development of educational research and to achieve new levels of national and international excellence.
