Reproductive Medicine Clinical Studies Group (RM-CSG) United Kingdom

The RM-CSG is a body which facilitates a multidisciplinary research network in reproductive medicine trials in the UK. It provides leadership in trials research within the reproductive medicine community and as such it should combine expertise with enthusiasm. The RM-CSG will facilitate assessment of clinical studies which could be run through the network. In addition it will have a role in providing advice to researchers on trials methodology and provide support for the organisation of approved trials. This could also include support for triallists and trials from beyond the Group

Aims

  • To develop and oversee an approved portfolio of studies
  • To propose and develop new trials and other well designed studies
  • To consider trials proposed by members of the group and others
  • To provide specific advice to investigators
  • To ensure consumer involvement

Membership

Membership is open to UK researchers in reproductive medicine and should have multi-professional representation (ie, clinicians, scientists, nurses) and be drawn from a wide geographical area. While many of the members are expected to be individuals with a strong track record in clinical trials, less experienced members of the reproductive medicine community who indicate serious interest in and commitment to research are also welcome.
