Welcome to the home page of the Nordic Policy Studies Centre,
a specialist research unit focusing on the many aspects of the contemporary
politics and international relations of the Nordic and Baltic states.
Since it was launched in 1996 by the Finnish prime minister, Paavo Lipponen,
the NPSC has developed extensive collaborative project links with universities
both north and south of the Baltic, offers facilities for visting scholars
and provides expert post-graduate supervision.
