We are based within the Zoology Building of the University of Aberdeen, on Tillydrone Avenue.
The main entrance to the Zoology Building is accessed from the bridge over the car park; the Natural History Centre is located on the lower ground floor.
The number 19 for Tillydrone stops outside the Zoology Building. The number 6 stops nearby on St Machar Drive and the 1,2,3 and 7 stop on King Street which is a ten minute walk away.
See the First Aberdeen website for fares and timetables, or telephone 01224 650065.
At the roundabout on King Street (the A92 Peterhead/Fraserburgh Road) turn west (away from the sea) onto St Machar Drive. Passing Old Aberdeen on the left, turn right at the next roundabout on to Tillydrone Avenue. The Zoology Building is the large building on the right hand corner. There is on-street car parking on Tillydrone Avenue.
Alternatively, as you approach Aberdeen on the A90, follow the signs for the A92 (Fraserburgh and Peterhead). This leads round the ring road (Anderson Drive). Exit from the ring road at a roundabout onto Cairncry Road, following the brown tourist signs for Old Aberdeen. Continue to follow the A92 signs through two further roundabouts onto St Machar Drive. With St Machar Academy on your right hand side, turn left at the next roundabout onto Tillydrone Avenue. The Zoology Building is the large building, now on your right-hand side. There is on-street car parking on Tillydrone Avenue.
