Research Interests

My main area of research is the representation theory of finite groups of Lie type (or finite reductive groups) and the study of related structures, like Hecke algebras and Coxeter groups. I am also one of the developers of the computer algebra system CHEVIE, which allows symbolic calculations with the above objects.
