Industrial Placement
All of our degrees can include a year's placement in industry, local government, etc. undertaken in either the fourth or fifth year. Successful completion leads to the award of an MSci.
Related Degrees
You can study computing with us in a variety of ways. Within the BSc Computing Science, you can specialise in Business Computing or Artificial Intelligence. We also offer degrees in Artificial Intelligence, Information Systems and Business Information Systems - all BSc or MSci. In addition, you can also take a Joint or Combined Honours degree with a range of other subjects (e.g. Maths, Business, Psychology, Education, Philosophy, Geography, French or Spanish).
Study Abroad
We encourage students to take part in ERASMUS exchange programmes and have direct links with universities in Freiburg (Germany), San Sebastian, Barcelona (Spain), Padua (Italy), Piemonte (Italy), Saint-Etienne (France), Paris (France), Uppsala (Sweden) and Zürich (Switzerland). You may spend up to one year of your degree studying at these institutions.
