Seminar: ‘The State(s) of Knowledge: Reading between Hegel and Schelling on Art and History’, Professor Tilottama Rajan

The Centre for Modern Thought is pleased to invite you to a lecture by Professor Tilottama Rajan entitled ‘The State(s) of Knowledge: Reading between Hegel and Schelling on Art and History’. Professor Rajan is Canada Research Chair in English and Theory and a distinguished University Professor at the University of Western Ontario. Her impressive list of accomplishments includes her authorship of several books and nearly 100 articles; service on numerous editorial boards (including European Romantic Review, Studies in the Novel, Nineteenth-Century Feminisms and Postmodern Culture) and departmental and professional review committees; and the founding of the North American Society for the Study of Romanticism.
Her lecture will be held on Monday, 7 March 2010 at 4:00pm in Humanities Manse. All are welcome!
