All applications should now be made on-line. Applications can be submitted from the beginning of September for admission for September of the following year or for deferred entry for the following year.
If you are a school student, your school will supervise the submission of your application, including the provision of your reference.
If you are a Graduate or Mature applicant, you will need to manage and submit the application yourself. This will include obtaining a copy of your reference to be included with the remainder of your application.
The closing date for applications for Medicine is 15 October. Applications received after this date are marked "LATE" but will be forwarded to the University by UCAS up to 26 May of the year of entry. It is highly unlikely that applications received after 15 October will be considered for admission to medicine at Aberdeen.
Schools, which send on UCAS forms on behalf of their students, are aware of this deadline, and expect students to conform to their time schedule for completion of the forms. However Graduate or Mature applicants should allow plenty of time for completion of the Reference, to avoid the risk of delay.
