Enquiries about an Application
Once an Applicant has applied through UCAS and has been allocated a Personal ID reference number, this should be quoted in any correspondence with the Medical Admissions Office, whether or not an application has been made previously to Aberdeen Medical School.
Records are kept at all stages of the Admissions Cycle, documenting the progress of each application as it proceeds through the Admissions Process until a final decision is made.
UCAS forms progress through the scoring stages in staggered groups, allowing interview slots to be progressively filled. Thus not all candidates will be invited for interview at any set time. All decisions will be made by the end of the interview cycle. We are unable to inform candidates about these decisions before UCAS.
Statistical data are produced annually and uploaded to the website around October of each year.
