Respiratory Research

Ware one of only five such University groups in the UK and are involved in a wide range of research projects covering both environmental and occupational health issues. We supervise a growing number of Ph.D students and offer an MSc in Occupational Hygiene. Members of the group provide medical expertise for occupational, respiratory and hyperbaric medicine, and we have has access to therapeutic pressure chambers. Close links in teaching and research are maintained with other national and international University groups, the Rowett Research Institute and via the Scottish Centre for Indoor Air and the Institute of Occupational Medicine based in Edinburgh.
