Marathon Oil Schools' & Children's Festival

The Schools’ Booking Line opens on Thursday 28 March at 9.30am.

We have a great selection of events for teachers and pupils to enjoy in the Marathon Oil Schools’ Programme such as storytelling, music, science, hands on workshops as well as events in the University’s fascinating Sir Duncan Rice Library, King’s Museum and the Natural History Centre.

Come learn, explore and let your imagination run wild in this year’s Schools’ Programme.

To arrange a booking, contact the May Festival Events Team on 01224 273874 or email jill.burnett@abdn.ac.uk. When making a booking, please indicate how many pupils and teachers will be attending the event. All events are FREE. Please note schools are permitted up to three bookings each. The schools’ programme books up very fast so please book quickly to avoid disappointment.

A Programme for Schools (7th - 9th May)

Schools will be sent information by post, however the programme books up fast so please book in advance so you don’t miss out. All school events are free and meet standards for the Curriculum for Excellence. The programme will offer interactive, hands-on events for all pupils as well as storytelling, music, science and Gaelic. Book now!

 

Fun for the Family (11th - 12th May)

The Children’s Programme will take place from 11 – 12 May and will offer free family events ranging from visits on the Reading Bus to storytelling with some of the UK's best-loved authors. The Festival face painter will also be available to paint some beautiful, creative designs throughout the weekend - come and join the Mayhem! Book now!
