I don’t know whether you will think a lot of it, but they sell in Winnipeg for twenty dollars. I paid six dollars cash at Oxford for it. It is the only one I will buy so take good care of it."

Firebag

The design on this panel bag was made by sewing beads through a paper pattern. The style was popular with seamstresses in several communities in northern Manitoba and northern Ontario. This one was given by Henry Moir to his mother. He told her, "I don’t know whether you will think a lot of it, but they sell in Winnipeg for twenty dollars. I paid six dollars cash at Oxford for it. It is the only one I will buy so take good care of it."
