Information

The Regent Building is located on Regent Walk, in between the University Office and the Taylor Building.

The Regent Building is partly occupied by the Language Centre. The building dates from about 1970 and was erected to house the Language Centre and the University Televison Service. The latter was discontinued in the mid 80s, and their premises occupied by Continuing Education (now the Centre for Lifelong Learning). The old TV studio was reconstructed as the Regent Lecture Theatre.

The Regent Building also houses the University's Video Conferencing Suite, which was installed in 1997.
