The Suttie Centre for Teaching and Learning in Healthcare is situated to the west end of the Polwarth building. It is a joint project between Aberdeen University and NHS Grampian. The centre is an award winning five-storey building which received a prestigious BREEAM award for it’s environmental considerations, such as harvesting rainwater. It houses a variety of amenities and departments (listed below) providing excellent teaching and training facilities, areas for social interaction and well equipped meeting rooms.
Each floor has dedicated functions and staff associated with these who represent individual groups that interlink around the core teaching and training functions. These include Anatomy, MBChB, NHS Grampian training and Clinical Skills.
