Information

The University of Aberdeen's Clinical Research Facility is housed within the brand new 3379m² Health Sciences Building on the University's Foresterhill site. The building was partly funded by SRIF, the University of Aberdeen and the Wolfson Foundation. It opened in August 2006.
A key principle of access to the CRF is that any bone fide researcher who needs to utilise the facility can request access, whether he or she works for the University, the NHS Trust or another research organisation.

The University CRF is suitable for 'ambulatory' clinical research, such as population-based epidemiological studies or clinical trials.
