A Journey through Prehistoric Scotland

A 5 week Summer School based in the historic University of Aberdeen, Scotland

Join us on a journey back to 7000BC! Set against a background of spectacular scenery, historic castles and dramatic landscapes, uncover the mysteries of Scotland’s ancient peoples, while enjoying one of the most dynamic, beautiful and prosperous regions of the UK, with miles of beaches, dunes and cliffs.

Orientation Monday 30th June
First Day of Classes Tuesday 1st July
Last Day of Classes Thursday 31st July
End of Course Assessment Friday 1st August

The University of Aberdeen summer school programme is open to all students and is specifically designed for the summer school study experience.  As well as an interest in Scotland’s archaeology, you should have achieved GPA level 2.75. The programme aims to minimize the amount of time spent in a classroom and to maximize the amount of experiential learning in and around Scotland. Aimed primarily at international students, the course is also open to prospective students from the UK on a residential or non-residential basis.
