QR Barcodes

Our QR barcodes give you access to information online very quickly. They work by linking you to a specific web address using a code reader installed on your smart phone. There are many readers available – we use BeeTagg Pro because it’s free and it works well.

To read the code your phone must have:

• a camera
• internet access
• barcode reader installed

Look out for QR barcodes displayed in our libraries, on information guides, posters, postcards and leaflets. They link to information online in a variety of formats including guides in PDF, web pages, podcasts, social networks and vodcasts.
