Workshops

We offer refresher sessions for academic and University support staff on reference management using RefWorks, and databases such as Scopus and Web of Knowledge. Workshops on bibliometrics are currently under development.

Staff can book courses via the course booking web page. Most workshops are held from December onwards and vary between 1.5 and 3 hours long.

• Login using your University computer username and password.
• Select the relevant category of courses.
• Browse through the courses - they are repeated at varying times on different dates.
• Tick the check-box for courses you wish to attend. Workshops are repeated several times - please book only one of each workshop that is relevant to you.
• Click on the Book Courses button.
• You will receive an email telling you if you have a place or are on the waiting list.
