Quick and simple update to staff and student cards can be done on ground floor of SDRL.
To improve security access to University buildings new ID Card readers are being fitted to many doors across campus and, to make sure that you will still be able to access all areas you are entitled to, current ID Cards will need to be updated.
It will be possible to update ID Cards at various points around our campuses, one of which is The Sir Duncan Rice Library. They can also be updated at Service Desks in the Edward Wright Building in Old Aberdeen and the Polwarth Building at Foresterhill.
The computer for doing this in the SDRL can be found as you enter the library, at the first pillar on your right, just before the welcome desk. The process is quick and easy - just hold your card over the card reader, wait a few seconds for a short beep and then remove your card again. Once complete, you will not need to have it updated again
