For the first time ever the University has developed a coordinated reading initiative designed to encourage all first year students within the College of Arts and Social Sciences to read, share and discuss one fantastic book.

This year’s Big Read programme centres on Matthew Green’s gripping search for rebel leader Joseph Kony in Uganda, as chronicled in his book, The Wizard of the Nile. Matthew will be on campus from the 22nd-23rd of November for activities with students, parents, our alumni and the community.
