Speaker: David Walker, University of Aberdeen

Venue: MacRobert Building, room 055

David Walker studied Art History at St Andrews, his doctoral thesis taking as its subject the life and work of the Scottish architects Peddie & Kinnear.  He worked for the Architectural Heritage Society of Scotland and the Royal Commission on the Ancient & Historical Monuments of Scotland before being appointed as a research fellow at Warwick University, studying the career of Sir Basil Spence.  He has worked on the Buildings of Scotland volumes for North and South Aberdeenshire at the University of Aberdeen since 2008.

All are welcome to this series of public lectures organised by King's Museum in collaboration with the Elphinstone Institute. Where there is a charge this should be paid on the door.
