Children's Events: Arts Across Learning Festival

Two workshops each day at 10.00-11.30am and 1.00-2.30pm

Venue: King's Museum,17 High Street, Old Aberdeen

These sessions will encourage children to see things differently and be creative in their responses to objects, art works and new environments.

Curator (for Learning and Access), Anna Shortland, and visual artist Jennifer Littlejohn will guide classes in a journey to the North, drawing on the exhibition, Collecting|Re-collecting Greenland and the North, and making use of objects from the University collections. Children will be encouraged to respond creatively to the exhibition and the objects, deepening their understanding of the links between people, place and environment.
