Who can use the Library and Museums

Any member of the public is welcome to visit our libraries and consult the collections.

Those who wish to borrow printed material will need to join the library and pay an annual fee. Accessing some of our electronic resources is possible from the Walk-in User PCs on Floor 1 and 2 of The Sir Duncan Rice Library. You will need to register for this free service.

You will need to bring photographic proof of identity if you with to visit or register for our Walk-In User Service.  Additionally if you wish to become a member of the library and borrow you must also bring proof of address.

See our main pages for information about where our libraries are, what they contain, when they are open and what services are available.
