Silent study room in University Library

There are Silent Study Rooms on Floors 1 and 3-6 of The Sir Duncan Rice Library. These are silent working environments.

Please note the following information about Silent Study Rooms on particular floors:

Room 124: Silent Study Room

Beside the Heavy Demand Collection, this is an ideal room for working with items borrowed from the HD Collection

Floor 3

Room 312: Silent Study Room

Silent working but laptops allowed

Room 324: Silent Study Room

Silent working only

 

Floor 4

Room 412: Silent Study Room

Silent working but laptops allowed

Room 424: Silent Study Room

The Taylor Library has silent study areas in D Block, one on the lower floor and one on part of the upper floor. No laptops may be used on the lower level but they may be used on the upper level.



Floor 3 is silent study area  in the Medical Library.
