Books on literature written in English are mainly located on Floor 4 of tThe Sir Duncan Rice Library. On the shelves books by an author are followed by critical works about the author.

Ebrary
Search the eBook database for Literature material here. "Sign in" in order to be able to print up to 40 pages per book, save highlights and notes and store books on your personal bookshelf. Copying and pasting is possible. A full citation comes with pasting. Only IP access is currently available.
Full details of all available journals, in both print and electronic format, can be found using Primo. Access to electronic content is restricted to staff and students. E-journals can also be browsed and accessed here. English literature journals are arranged alphabetically on Floor 2 of the Sir Duncan Rice Library, with shelfmarks Per 800 and Per 820.
DVDs and videos of films are available in the Heavy Demand Collection on Floor 1 of The Sir Duncan Rice Library. Those needed for course work may be kept behind the HD desk and will have to be asked for. They are only on loan for 3 hours. Other stock is available for borrowing for 3 days.
Newspapers
These go back to the 17th century. They are stored on microfilm and are located on Floor 1. Machines are available for reading and making copies. See the section on newspapers for more information.
