A fully searchable database containing the proceedings of the Scottish parliament from the first surviving act of 1235 to the union of 1707.

Public Bills before Parliament
Lists all Bills currently before Parliament. Any Bills which start in the Lords have [HL] in their title. Explanatory Notes and Amendments are on each Bill's individual page.
House of Commons
The UK public elects 650 Members of Parliament (MPs) to represent their interests and concerns in the House of Commons. MPs consider and propose new laws, and can scrutinise government policies by asking ministers questions about current issues either in the Commons Chamber or in Committees.
House of Lords
The House of Lords is the second chamber of the UK Parliament. It is independent from, and complements the work of, the House of Commons. Members of the Lords play a vital role making laws and keeping a check on government.

National Assembly of Wales
The National Assembly for Wales is the democratically elected body that represents the interests of Wales and its people, makes laws for Wales and holds the Welsh Government to account. This site has the official reports, committee reports and laid papers of the Welsh Assembly.

Wales Legislation
The site contains the full text of all Statutory Instruments made by the National Assembly for Wales. Hypertext links are also provided to the full text of all United Kingdom Acts of Parliament and United Kingdom Statutory Instruments which apply exclusively or primarily to Wales.
Northern Ireland Assembly
The devolved legislature for Northern Ireland. It is responsible for making laws on transferred matters in Northern Ireland and for scrutinising the work of Ministers and Government Departments. The Assembly sits at Parliament Buildings, Stormont Estate, in Belfast. Members (MLAs) meet to debate issues; question Ministers; and make laws for the benefit of people in Northern Ireland. Each MLA represents her or his constituency, and there are 6 MLAs for each constituency.
Northern Ireland Executive
The Executive Committee exercises executive authority on behalf of the Northern Ireland Assembly, and takes decisions on significant issues and matters which cut across the responsibility of two or more Ministers. It also agrees proposals put forward by Ministers for new legislation in the form of ‘Executive Bills’ for consideration by the Assembly. It is also responsible for drawing up a programme for government and an agreed budget for approval by the Assembly.
nidirect
nidirect is the official government website for Northern Ireland citizens. nidirect aims to make it easier to access government information and services. It does this by working closely with Northern Ireland departments and other public bodies to collate key information based on users' needs.
Northern Ireland Legislation
The site contains the full text of all Statutory Rules of Northern Ireland. Once powers are transferred to the Northern Ireland Assembly the site will also contain the full text of all Acts and the Explanatory Notes to the Acts of the Northern Ireland Assembly.
