Official Publications
The Taylor Library and EDC has good holdings of UK Parliamentary Publications from Westminster, the Scottish Parliament, and the European Union and many are now online:

International treaties and agreements
In the Law Collection in the Taylor Library there are a number of books which collect together international documents such as the UN Charter and the European Convention on Human Rights (eg. Brownlie: Basic Documents in International Law). There is a comprehensive index to treaties in the Reference Section. In the Law Periodicals section, International Legal Materials is a bi-monthly publication which reproduces the full text of new international documents in full.

On the Web you will find the full text of many treaties. Here are some starting points:

Newspapers
Full-text access to UK national and regional newspapers is available from Lexis-Nexis Butterworths

Materials for the library are purchased through the Library Representative for Politics and International Relations.

Tutorials and workshops detailing how to make the best use of the information resources available to PIR staff and students can be arranged by contacting the Information Consultant for Politics and IR Claire Molloy.
