Accountancy - Databases

Most of the bibliographic reources used to trace book chapters, articles in periodicals and specialist reports are now either on cd-rom or on the Web. They provide references which you can then check in Primo to see if they are available. Some of the databases require you to logon using your University computer username and password.

Financial Journals Index CD-ROM, Taylor Library

A UK index covering journals related to finance, tax, and insurance since 1983-2001.

Emerald Fulltext
A library of management journals covering over 25,000 articles. Aberdeen University subscribes to a limited selection of the available titles.

European Business on Searchbank
Web access from Aberdeen University networked PCs. A business database with full-text articles on European companies and business news. Strong on takeovers and mergers.

Science Direct
A large database , including articles on Business, Accountancy, Economics, and Finance

Social Science Citation Index
Web access, University computer username and password required. A large, international index to journals in all fields of Social Science.
