Custodial history/provenance: This was the personal collection of the Revd A. David Lewis (1916-1995), Presbyterian minister and translator. The Collection was purchased by Aberdeen University's Department of Divinity and Religious Studies and given to Special Libraries and Archives in 1996. It is now housed in the Special Collections Centre.
