With around 40 academic staff (including Emeritus and Honorary staff who remain active in postgraduate supervision), the Law School is able to offer supervision in a wide range of subjects. The following list gives some indication of the areas in which supervision may be offered, but research interests are not always easily classifiable and it may be possible to offer supervision in areas which are not listed here. If you have any questions about whether the Law School would be able to offer supervision for a research topic you wish to pursue, then you should contact the Law School's Graduate Programme's Coordinator, Caroline Ransom, in the first instance. The availability of supervision will depend on the other commitments of prospective supervisors and the exact content of your research proposal. For more information about the individuals listed below, visit the Staff Profiles pages, where you will be able to read more about individual members of staff and view lists of their publications.
