Sheriff Christopher Shead gave a presentation to the DPLP class as part of the Criminal Litigation course, and provided useful guidance to the students in advance of their advocacy assessments on this course.
Sheriff Shead was appointed as Sheriff in Grampian Highlands & Islands on 29/0/12. Prior to his appointment hew was a member of the Faculty of Advocates where he practised predominantly in the fields of criminal law and human rights. He was lead counsel for the appellant in the Supreme Court Case Cadder v HM Advocate [2010] UKSC 43.
