New postgraduate funding opportunities for 2010/11 at the University of Aberdeen:

2. Research Award Projects: topics and supervisors are listed in each research project. Members of staff involved in the MSc in Latin American Studies are involved in three projects:

1. Carnegie Trust: every year the department nominates the best first-class finalist; students cannot apply directly without being nominated first (www.carnegie-trust.org/our_schemes.htm).
2. AHRC: please bear in mind that the system has changed and is now based on block grants (http://www.abdn.ac.uk/cass/graduate/funding/ahrc/). Our allocation is as follows:
