Resources Library

The Resources Library is open to all University of Aberdeen students and staff and to members of the general public enrolled on Language Centre evening courses.

During Term Time, the Resources Library is usually open from 9:30am until 5pm, Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, the opening hours are 9:30am-4:30pm. The Resources Library provides users with:

• A wide selection of self-study materials for English as a Foreign Language, all the foreign languages currently taught in the Centre and many more besides

• Individual work stations for accessing the Internet and using CALL packages

• Access to satellite TV channels

• A TV/Video room for watching DVDs

• Language Lab facilities for self-recording

• A quiet Study Room with reference dictionaries and periodicals

Resources Library staff are on hand to offer guidance on the different study materials available and technical support is provided by the Language Centre's own technician.
