The Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) at Aberdeen is home to Principal Investigators leading cutting edge molecular and cell biology research in a variety of fields. Principal Investigators work closely with their clinical colleagues and represent an international pooling of talent, with staff drawn from the UK, USA, New Zealand, China, Germany, Switzerland and The Netherlands. Current grant income is approximately £42m, raised from charities, government and UK research councils.
