King’s Museum is a new display space for the university collections. Situated at number 17, High St., the Museum serves as showcase for the star items of the seven university collections, and will play host to a variety of interesting and exciting exhibitions and events. The museum is a point of contact between the university and the wider community, strengthening the bonds between town and gown. A collaborative space, the museum draws from the wealth of talent, creativity and initiative possessed by university staff and students, as well as the residents of Aberdeen City and Shire.
King’s Museum has a multipurpose learning and events space, used for educating and entertaining anyone from school pupils to visiting academics and professors. Lectures, object handling, art workshops and coffee meetings – King’s Museum is a space for all this and more.
