Inspire To Enquire!
Take a trip on a creative journey. Share your passion and encourage others to get involved.
Your film can be about absolutely anything you love. Share the love!
Junior Director's Cut is the University of Aberdeen's annual film competition for young filmmakers. This year's competition is all about expression and passion, we want to see what inspirers and thrills you and we want you to share your experiences.
The rules are simple. The competition is open to filmmakers under the age of 18. Entries can be submitted by individuals, groups or classes. Films should be no longer than 7 minutes including titles and credits. Entries can be submitted either in DVD format or via upload to YouTube.
All entrants will be invited to an online screening of all films where our judges will provide feedback on each contender before announcing the competition winners. First prize is £150 of Amazon vouchers and there will be plenty of runners up prizes too.
The deadline for entry is Friday 11th January and anyone wishing to submit an entry should do so either by post to Junior Director's Cut, Room 110 University Office, University of Aberdeen, King's College, Aberdeen, AB24 3FX or by providing links to j.whimster@abdn.ac.uk.
