Choosing answer parts
There are about 10 joke building recipees.
These provide instructions for all the main decisions about
the construction of the joke, starting by finding words which
will make up the answer for the riddle.
The computer selects a recipe and finds words that fit
into it.

For example, the recipe might say (in computer language):
Find 1. a two-word phrase 2. a word that sounds like the 2nd word in the phrase
The computer may choose computer screen
for the phrase and scream for the word that sounds like screen.
The recipe also decides which of these words
to use for the answer, and which to transform for the question:
For the answer, use 1. the 1st word in the phrase 2. the word that sounds like the 2nd word in the phrase
For the question, transform 1. the whole phrase 2. the word that sounds like the 2nd word in the phrase
In our example, computer and scream are used for the answer, and computer screen and scream for the question-building in Stage 2.
